Unhealthy Reduced Fat Peanut Butter
Many people that reduced fat peanut butter is the way to go when buying peanut butter, but they are wrong. "Reduced-fat peanut butter has nearly as many calories than the full fat peanut butter," says Alison Accera, national nutrition and wellness manager for Guckenheimer. "Plus they have added sugars, more sodium, and partially hydrogenerated oils, and unhealthy fats that raise cholesterol in the body," Accera says. After figuring this out you'll see that the way to go is all natural peanut butter. All natural peanut butter, such as "Smucker's Natural Creamy Peanut Butter" contains no added salt.
Smucker's Natural Creamy Peanut Butter holds 105 calories, 8 g of fat, and 0 mg of sodium.
In one tablespoon of Reduced -fat Peanut Butter which holds 95 calories, 6 g of fat, and 110 mg of sodium.

Unhealthy Sweet Granola
All people who are dieting believe that a light and healthy, like granola, is the perfect sweet-tooth snack. This is a common shocking mistake. "The reason granola is always so sweet is because it's usually prepared with lots and lots of sugar, and just as much oil," says Accera. "That also explains why this carb-loaded snack is high in calories," she continues. Reading this, you should swap that for whole-grain cereal. Accera says, " Whole-grain cereal is a heart-healthy option that's also an excellent source of fibers, healthy fats, and proteins. Plus without added sugars all those things will stabilize blood glucose levels and leave you feeling fuller longer than granola will.
1/4 cup of whole grain cereal, such as Post-Grape Nuts, has 100 calories, 1 g of fat, and 145 mg of sodium.
1/4 cup of granola has 140 calories, 7 g of fat, and 0 mg of sodium.

Dried Fruit
When in need of a light and "healthy snack you look for raisins or dried cranberries, nothing wrong with that, right? Actually to many people's surprise there is something wrong with these assumed healthy snacks. Fresh fruit mainly contains water; therefore, drying it out reduces the water volume and adds extra, unneeded sugar per serving. Zuckerbot says, " Dried fruit also has added refined sugar to enhance the taste." Opting for dried fruits not only loads you up on calories, but it can send your blood sugar spiking and then crashing, and this is a nightmare for your energy levels.
Reading this, you should swap it for fresh grapes. "It will eliminate all the added sugar and get all the other vitamins and minerals of fruit," says Zuckerbot. Also if you want to avoid pesticides choose organic grapes.

Diet Sodas
I'm sure all of us have seen that one person at a fast food restaurant order a huge fatty meal, but when asked for what drink they reply with "Ummm.. a diet Coke!" Well here's a fact for everyone reading this. Drinking diet sodas with those fattening meals isn't really helping you. Yes, it may say that it's calorie free but it doesn't really help to get a thinner waistline. A University of Texas Health Science Center study found that the more diet sodas people drank, the greater their risk grew of becoming overweight.
You should swap the "diet" drinks for other calorie free drinks for example: Water, club soda, naturally flavored seltzers, unsweetened/sweetened tea and coffee. Diet soda can cause many problems on the inside of your body as well. They cause kidney problems, and if you've always had a good, or decent, metabolism you can kiss that goodbye. They also cause cell damage and can rot your teeth. It's pretty gross if I do say so myself.
